Do not point fingers on other Christians!

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

In the midst of the weight you carry, I extend my heartfelt wishes for grace and peace to surround you. Your mention of those impactful posters on facebook speaks volumes about the struggles weighing on your heart, and I’m here to offer solace and direction. Those narratives indeed hold profound truths about the presence of evil and the perils of judgment. Let’s explore the wisdom within them, a guidance from our Lord Jesus, as we confront our own human frailties in striving to follow His commandments.

In the Gospel of John (8:1-11), we find the poignant tale of the adulterous woman. Here, Jesus embodies immense compassion, demonstrating the importance of forgiveness and refraining from harsh condemnation. He reminds us that none among us are free from sin and urges introspection before casting stones. Offering grace, Jesus gives the woman a chance to embrace a new beginning.

Shifting our focus to the Gospel of Matthew (16:21-23), we encounter the profound exchange between Jesus and Peter. This interaction underscores aligning our thoughts and actions with the divine will. Though Peter’s intentions were born of love, his words inadvertently opposed God’s plan. Jesus teaches us to prioritize God’s intentions above our understanding, guiding us to surrender personal agendas and trust in God’s wisdom.

Both narratives beautifully illustrate Jesus’ teachings of compassion, understanding, and the transformative power of forgiveness. They echo the truth that no one is beyond redemption and remind us to extend forgiveness to others as we seek it ourselves. Moreover, they underscore the importance of seeking and embracing God’s will, even when it challenges our perspectives or desires.

As brothers in Christ, let’s approach others with compassion and mercy, refraining from judgment and extending the hand of forgiveness. May we surrender our own will to God’s divine guidance, nurturing empathy, forgiveness, and deepening our bond with Him.

May the grace and wisdom of our Lord Jesus Christ be a constant guide and source of comfort for you, dear Brother Dominic.

In His service,

Noel Christopher
